Leadership

The Midway Gifted Community strives to support GT families from all Midway campuses. Because our students are spread among 11 traditional elementary and secondary campuses, our organization is led by an elected Board of Directors that represents those campuses. The Board handles the regular operation of the organization, including planning events, recruiting members, managing a budget, and charting the vision for the organization.

Board of Directors

Our board has at least 11 director positions for parents or other family members for GT students at each campus, to ensure that voices from all parts of the district are at the table. There are also at-large positions – 2 designated by Midway ISD, and 3 elected by the membership.
